Swimming Attainment

At Pudsey Lowtown Primary School, all children in Year 4 are taught swimming during a weekly lesson at Pudsey Leisure Centre.  We aim for as many children as possible to reach the Nationally Expected Level.

We are required to report on the number of children in Year 6 who have met the following standards:

Swimming attainment - end of Year 6
Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres 27 (90%)
Use a range of strokes effectively 27 (90%)
Perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations 27 (90%)
